We want to provide you with an update about what is going on in our Community related to COVID. We did our latest round of mass testing, and we are happy to announce that all staff and all residents tested negative for the virus. As a result, the health department has approved us, effective immediately, to begin window visitation with certain restrictions and outdoor group activities with social distancing and wearing masks.
We continue to see signs that the surge of the virus in our Community is ending. Our latest round of mass testing resulted in no new positive cases. Our next round of mass testing is scheduled for this week. Our vaccine clinic for our residents and staff will take place on-site and is scheduled for January 17.
We believe we are turning a corner in this surge of the virus in our Community. In our most recent round of mass testing, we have fewer staff and residents who tested positive, and we have many residents and staff that previously tested positive coming off of isolation. Our next scheduled round of mass testing will be today, and, as is typical, we will immediately communicate the results to residents, their responsible parties/designated family members and primary healthcare providers upon learning of the results.
